Nice and filling, a great winter dish.   



Ingredients:
Serves 4
  • 1 cup tomato, coarsely chopped (about 1 large tomato)
  • 3/4 cup uncooked small macaroni shells
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped (about 1 small onion)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh or 1 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can  chick peas, drains
  • 438ml  chicken broth

Directions:
Mix all the ingredients in a pan. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until macaroni is tender.
